At Shining Rock Adventures, we provide a comprehensive itinerary detailing your destinations and activities. While we strive to adhere to the planned services, unforeseen circumstances such as road closures or adverse weather may necessitate itinerary adjustments. Should this occur, we will make alternative arrangements to ensure your trip remains enjoyable and fulfilling.
CONDITIONS IN TANZANIA
Please be aware that conditions in Tanzania may differ from those in developed countries. Unexpected changes in government fees, such as national park fees, may occur. Shining Rock Adventures reserves the right to pass on any such local taxes and fees to our customers.
FULLY ACCREDITED
Shining Rock Adventures is fully accredited and bonded, providing assurance of your booking’s security. Our team is available 24/7 throughout the year to offer support and peace of mind during your travel experience.
PAYMENT TERMS
Upon confirming your booking, you will receive an invoice detailing your trip. A 50% deposit of the itinerary cost is required to secure your reservation. Full payment for airline tickets is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable 45 days prior to departure. For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full prepayment is required at the time of reservation.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Payments can be made via bank wire or transfer.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of cancellation, the following charges apply:
- More than 45 days before departure: Deposit non-refundable.
- 45 days or less before departure: 100% of the itinerary cost.
AMENDMENTS
Changes to your itinerary or departure date can be accommodated based on availability. An administrative fee of €150 will apply for any changes requested after booking confirmation.
PRICING
Prices on our website are per person, based on double occupancy, and quoted in US dollars (US$). Additional costs such as passport/visa fees, tips, insurances, and personal expenses are not included unless specified. Prices are indicative and subject to change. Detailed costs will be specified in your invoice, valid for 2 weeks.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
All necessary travel documents, including vouchers, e-tickets, and luggage labels, will be provided two weeks before departure.
INSURANCE
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering the entire duration of your trip is mandatory. Recommended coverage includes medical expenses, repatriation, and optional insurances for cancellation, emergency evacuation, and personal belongings.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
Clients are responsible for ensuring their passports and visas are valid for travel to Tanzania. Most nationalities can obtain a tourist visa on arrival ($50 per person, $100 for US citizens) valid for three months. Visas can also be obtained in advance from the embassy. Passports should be valid for at least six months beyond the travel period.
BOOKING ACCEPTANCE
By booking with Shining Rock Adventures, clients accept and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, which are governed by Tanzanian law.
LAW
These terms and conditions, along with all related correspondence, constitute the contract between Shining Rock Adventures and the client. The contract is governed by Tanzanian law, and any disputes shall be resolved under Tanzanian jurisdiction
