SAFARI ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take some time to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. If time allows, you can explore the vibrant town of Arusha, known as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.

Day 2: Arusha Fly to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for a flight to the Serengeti National Park. Upon landing, you will be met by your guide and embark on an afternoon game drive in the Central Serengeti. This region is known for its abundant wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, and cheetahs. As the day draws to a close, arrive at your lodge or campsite in the Central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 3: Full Day in Central Serengeti

Spend the day exploring the Central Serengeti, home to a rich diversity of wildlife and stunning landscapes. Morning and afternoon game drives provide ample opportunities to see the park’s iconic species, including the Big Five and large herds of herbivores. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and continue your exploration before returning to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti

Continue your journey to the Northern Serengeti, where the Great Migration often takes place during certain times of the year. This area is renowned for its dramatic river crossings, where wildebeests and zebras brave the crocodile-infested waters. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and soak in the incredible scenery.

Day 5: Full Day in Northern Serengeti

A full day in the Northern Serengeti allows you to witness one of nature’s most spectacular events—the Great Migration. The landscape here is particularly stunning, with rolling hills and rivers providing the perfect setting for observing large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and the predators that follow them.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti back to Arusha

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive en route to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
